I’ve seen conflicting reports on this.
Everything about this incident point to its being a hoax, but the news reports don’t all confirm this.
While this might well be true, and it’s pretty close to what many people predicted, it’s also libel if not true. What are the publishers thinking here? At least qualify it as “sources say” or something to that effect.

If this report about a hoax crime is true, I hope the show’s writers kill off Juicy’s character by suicide by hanging because he couldn’t handle life as a gay black man.
I know it’s more likely they will write the character’s death as a fatal attack by MAGA screaming whites, but it’s good to fantasize every now and then.
How do you have time to to have an acting career, a musical career and run racist hoaxes when you seem to spend every waking moment having your picture taken. That’s what I’d like to know.

EVERY “hate crime” is fake. Every one.
These are hoaxes perpetrated by attention-seeking mentally-unstable people sad they missed having ACTUAL “hate crimes” perpetrated against them 60 or 70 years ago.

That all seems silly, beyond the normal level of silly we already assumed about the whole thing.... I don’t hate Gateway Pundit quite as much as a lot of other FReepers, but this article seems like illogical conjecture based on baseless rumor..
Why the heck would he get other people involved in his scheme, when he could have done it all himself?, scratched his own cheek and looped the clothesline around his neck?

I record a few Fox shows a week and I’ve seen snippets of Empire promos that show this guy with wounds on his face. I was forwarding mostly but stopped once after this story came out.
I couldn’t tell the context since I don’t watch the show but is sounded like preachy sjw stuff.
This “incidence” seems awfully timed since that clip had to be filmed months ago.
I’d hate to think the producers, backed by Fox, would perpetrate this as publicity. That would be a crime.
He should do the same amount of time those attackers would have faced.
