Whatever - show votes. McConnell trying to be cute, but all he’s doing is giving this airhead congresswoman more free press.

Exactly. Beltway theater for the rubes back on Main Street. And of course he is using precious Senate time on this virtue signalling nothing burger that could be used on something useful like confirming judges.

That might be, but you and many others don’t get it. By putting this up for a vote, we get to see WHO voted YEA or NAY.

A meaningless and virtue signalling show vote. Very few if any Dem Senators are in danger in 2020. All the battles will be fought on GOP turf.

Just like with the Single Payer health care vote..no dems voted for it because they knew it would be career suicide..instead they will wait til God forbid they ever get back in total control than they will have no issue voting for this pile of crap

Cannot wait to ride the flying steam locomotives to Hawaii!

I was just telling a friend 10 minutes ago that we’ll have to remove the 4-10-4 from Henry Ford museum so we have a heavy locomotive that won’t get blown off the tracks going to Hawaii.

Silly. The Dems know how to handle this. They will determine who of their ilk is “safe for reelection” and they will vote one way. The others will vote the other. The Dems are the evil party, not the stupid party.

It’s a good idea, not theater. It gets them on record. Mitch is a lot of things, but knows how the senate works.
