Once Trump is cleared, on National Television Trump should thank Mueller for his time and effort in conducting an impartial and professional investigation. Go so far as to give him a medal of freedom for his commitment to overseeing an impartial investigation.
Then announce that the DOJ has requested a special counsel to look into everyone involved in the abuse of the FISA court as the next logical step, since we now have to work backwards to figure out why this happened and how it will never happen again.
The MSM will pivot to the SDNY and their investigation of Trump, Inc. They won’t miss a beat.

I agree, not much in the non-report and the reason I know that is that Dems are DEMANDING a release of the report so they can twist the words to make it seem there was something between the rolls of this nothing burger.

That is what seems likely. But I do take comfort in that there is no reason why an "equal time" report can't be drafted by the good guys.
Of course, by that time, the anti-Trumpers will be off to the new races spearheaded by Adam Schiff.

How much different would things be, if from the start Trump's attorneys had shown an appropriate amount of skepticism?
