I’m disappointed that he’s still talking about it. Actions speak louder than words.

The 16500 number never happened and won’t happen. 40,000 beds is the congress approved number.

While I’d hope that this isn’t what he does, here’s one possibility... if he takes the money offered, that’s a lot less he has to take from other sources for the rest.

Won’t surprise me if he puts up a billion of his own money for it.
Not a chance. It would be silly. He has already lost a significant amount of net worth in the last 2-3 years.

If the President DOES sign a ‘compromise’ bill of some kind, I’ll first want to know what’s in it. And then it’s a question of what is going to happen next in this war for our country.

In Congress, we just don’t have the proverbial boots on the ground for a proverbial frontal assault, despite what we were howling for. That’s partially our own fault.

So we have to use different tactics, many of which may be distasteful for straightforward persons like us, but if we get the wall in the end, they’ll be worth it.

The national emergency that people are touting is one weapon that can be used, yes.

But it’s a very all-or-nothing gambit. If we use it and then get defeated at that point, there will be NO wall, because we’ll have lost a massive point of leverage, and the globalists in Congress will know that they can simply block the wall with impunity.

Using it as a threat on the other hand has forced them to come to the table, and it seems that we are slowly forcing them to bend.

Now’s not the time to go all wobbly!

a pathological party of chronic LIARS and
Romney=driven backstabbers.

There has to be a reason so many concern trolls are always front and center.

***

Until recently, they got paid by the government to ‘counter Russian interference.’ Thanks lame duck Congress and Obama.

But the money just dried up a month ago, so we’ll see if it was astroturfing or not.

but he sure gives the Democrats bragging rights.

If the Wall is built, let the Dems spin it all they want. We will be safer. Our laws will be better enforced. The Dems say anything anyway.

Legalize weed for the full wall

Might as well toss America in the trash heap of history then. Destruction of our culture. ( don’t try to short shrift my knowledge of these things. I’ve been to the big city and seen the elephant…even went to Woodstock in 1969… been there done that and have seen the damage it has wrought).

I see stories on Yahoo and AOL already gloating that the new budget deal is a pittance compared to the minimum President Trump said he would accept. I just hope if PDJT decides to sign this legislation anyway to avoid another shutdown he immediately issues an emergency order to build out the entire wall.

We absolutely need that wall immediately to keep the caravan scum from getting across the border where they can then make bogus asylum claims. There's no hope for any change to our insane asylum laws in the foreseeable future.

If it could have been built without Congress’ approval all along, why wasn’t it?

Brilliant!

Not just ‘done’, but we’d be finished.

Maybe you should spend less time on fortnite and read some books.

I have confidence that the builder of skycrapers knows the risks.

If Congress already authorizes a third of the deal, then they can hardly complain about the rest.

He’s laid the groundwork for that with the SOTU, 52% approval ratings, and the Dems’ Green New Deal in tatters.

It would eliminate their biggest voter draw

It would eliminate the stoner vote, they would sit home get high on election day, not show up and vote for democrats.

If democrats oppose this, it would harm them with the stoners that vote for them only because of legal weed platform

It is a double edge sword against themselves.

We would win either way
