The fact that so many Dems are willing to support Barr should probably set off some alarms for most Freepers.

I don’t know about 20 Rats voting for Barr. The vote out of the judiciary committee was along strict party lines, not a single Rat yes vote.

Barr has every red flag for a complete disaster. Bush association, Mueller association, Deep State resume, indifferent to Constitutional restrictions on government, and so on.
Conservatives need to start treating the AG position like a Supreme Court pick. With the abdication of even the tiniest of pretenses of equal enforcement, what this country needs more than anything is the RIGHT attorney general.
And Barr has more than enough to his name to definitively rule him out as the right guy. “We” should be as pissed at this nomination as we were at Harriet Miers’ - if “we” are still conservatives and “we” are serious about believing in the rule of law.
He is big time anti gun. That’s all the information needed to know that Rand is right. This guy is a swamp creature through and through. You can’t be as rabid anti gun as this guy is and not be a big government hack. Barr is another disaster appointment in the making, bank on it.
Gun Owners of America doesn’t like this guy. He’s made many statements advocating for more gun control.
