The fact that so many Dems are willing to support Barr should probably set off some alarms for most Freepers.

You make a very good point, but here is my thinking...
Two possibilities- Either PDJT is putting Barr there as a good pick he believes can help bring order to the DoJ and perhaps fulfill a specific purpose- OR you have to believe that having been screwed over numerous times by following the advice of others, and especially by a back-stabbing former AG, PDJT is once again saying “what the hell just plug this guy in”.
I choose to believe our POTUS is smarter than that.
One would think so. We know that Barr isn't much of a fan of the 2nd Amendment, among other things. Personally, I don't want him having a say over whomever may have to argue before the supreme court on constitutional questions.
