Well, if the NYC city council is run by the LGBTXYZ crowd, why is Diaz's statement so offensive?
Do they run the city council or don't they? If they do run it, then he was just stating a fact, not attacking them.
Now if he had said that the NYC city council was run by Republicans, I could see what they'd be upset about. /s/

His original comment wasn’t what I would consider “homophobic”. The LBXYZ’s response to Diaz’s benign comment is hydrophobic, as in rabid.
