So in case you haven’t noticed, we’ve head pretty far down that socialist road.
When I see those fall back I’ll know we won’t be socialist.

I can't blame them. To actually get involved in politics necessitates abandoning the morals, values and ethics that got you there in the first place. To accomplish anything in politics means having to make compromises to get, only a part of, what you wanted in the first place. A life in politics means having to sleep with the devil from time to time.
President Trump, IMO, is the singular exception. He's not a politician. He's a patriot and a businessman who saw a need and stepped in. And I don't know where we would ever get another like him.
Illiterate electorate, lazy people,free loaders,corrupt politicians,etc. and what do have ....socialism.

You know, that’s not a bad idea. There is a lot of coal there to burn to stay warm and produce power. You could colonize the place and show the world that hard work works. I know there’s a treaty that prohibits countries from exploiting the resources but if it was a new native independent self sustaining settlement it would be legitimate.I know that there would be “ global” outrage, but to hell with them.

At 3:09 he interviews Mark Penn who gives a very brief history explaining that there were two parties in Venezuela and when both parties failed to work for the people, a socialist was elected, and everything went downhill from there.
