This is just piling-on stupid. He’s right. The ones that came over in 1619 WERE indentured servants.

being “treated like” is not the same as “being”.
They did not sign up for it; they were forced into the situation, which made them slaves. That they only were slaves for a period of time makes them less oppressed, but not free.
