Gun crime highest for a decade for four police forces

West Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Cheshire police handled more incidents than in any year since 2007-08.

Overall gun crime in England and Wales is lower than 10 years ago, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.

More than one in five victims of firearms offences, excluding air weapons, was aged under 20.

Police believe that firearms crimes in some areas are linked to "county lines", where gangs move drug-dealing operations outside big cities to smaller towns.

The figures, released on Thursday, come alongside statistics showing fatal stabbings at their highest level since records began in 1946.

Okay, for the grammar cops, I don't know why the four police forces are committing more gun crimes. Anyway, it must be that the UK gun laws aren't strict enough. Excluding air guns of course.

"West Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Cheshire police"

It is all from counties ending in "-shire." Therefore, it is caused by global warming.

“Anyway, it must be that the UK gun laws aren’t strict enough. “

What’s beyond a total ban?

“Overall gun crime in England and Wales is lower than 10 years ago,”

Do the majority of Brits even know what guns are anymore much less how to use them?

Pisspoorwriting. “Air Weapons”? What are those, Anti-Aircraft Guns, AA missiles, Air powered Ping-Pong ball guns, NERF guns, water-guns?

Notice how the article never tells you how a “gun” was used, such as in armed robberies, gang shootings (hinted at), domestic disputes, terrorist acts, attacks on the police, drunks, etc.

And the rise of “knife” attacks was left out too. Moslem extremists now have developed the tactic of “Knife Intifadas” against law enforcement and civilians alike, to supplant their vehicular murder tactics.

Whatever editor let this POS article get published like it is should be fired for incompetence, but then, again, “They are oh so British”.
