Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, who until recently was one of President Donald Trump’s most outspoken supporters, ripped his State of the Union speech on Tuesday as “the lamest, sappiest, most intentionally tear-jerking SOTU ever.”
Coulter live-tweeted her thoughts during the nearly 90-minute speech, in which Trump appealed for unity in Washington amid gridlock over border security funding that threatens to trigger yet another government shutdown.
The 57-year-old pundit blasted Trump for barely touching on the wall during his speech.

I get your point, and agree for the most part, but when the president speaks about constructive approaches to old, overgrown problems, I think it’s worthwhile to give him a respectful listen. You impulsively throw rocks if your pet issue is not addressed as you wish it to be.
You must know how many GOP’s are planning to stop his Emergency Order for The Wall if he decides to declare it’s necessity. McConnell is on record opposing Trump on this.

How could anyone find any SOTU speech lamer than oBama’s? All the I me mine crap?? Trump was even 1/8 of the self-congratulatorian the narcissist Obama was.
I listened to the speech on the radio, then switched to watching it live on Youtube. I am not some dumb plebe, Ann dear. And I loved the speech. I practically leaped out of my computer chair with my fist in the air at certain points. I could take out my excitement by posting comments on the furiously fast running comments by viewers. There were, of course, some idiot trolls and some brainwashed dummocraps posting as well, but in my opinion, as fast as the comments were rolling by, it looked like there were a lot of people loving the speech, too. I saw a lot of MAGA posts, Build the Wall, I love Trump, etc. So Ann, take your current depression and stick it somewhere.
It was a nice speech. But our nation is still on track to becoming Mexico. Trump hasn’t changed that trajectory at all.
I’ve met Ann and I like her and I’ve occasionally defended her over-the-top rhetoric in this forum... but not this time. I know she likes to play the role of provocateur, but this screed simply has no basis in reality. DJT delivered a great speech, a masterful performance. — one of the best SOTU speeches I’ve ever seen. Ann is way, way out of line on this one. She’’s delusional.
She’s either drinking or needs to see her doctor for a pill adjustment.

The speech was fine. But if you think that we’re still in the speechifying phase, you’re wrong.
I've begun to think she's A) actually helping President Trump with some rope-a-dope, pissing off some fence-straddlers and pushing them toward him; or B) she's about to finally come ouf of the closet.
