urging unity.
Trump has taken such a “high road” that unless the Dems (& Repubs) do too, they are going to looks so, so bad and un-American. I think this is the last thing the Dems expected, and he still called them out on everything - baby killing, socialism, anti-semitism, etc.
Wow - what an inspirational speech. One of our greatest presidents, for sure.

And the networks were telling us this was going to be a short SOTU. We can already predict the usual cliches coming from that blob Abrams in her reaction! What I want to know is what that buffoon Becerra will say in the Español version of the rebuttal!

It is taking a long time for pages to reload.
I think what happened here tonight, is Trump convinced the middle that they can be comfortable with him for a second term, regardless of their views, Trump came across as a leader tonight.

There was no special effort to show them, at least on the C-Span feed I watched. A little surprising.
