I would like to see a study in plain English with no hedging of the illegal immigrants participation in the underground economy and the total amount of taxes they evade in paying.

So the solution will be to let illegals get away with more crime so that rates drops down to the national norm.

An illegal murdered 4 people in less than 9 days in Reno & Gardnerville, south of Reno in early January.
The couple killed in Reno left a daughter—grand daughter—and (I think) a great grand daughter.
ALL 3 will be guests of Trump tonight t the SOTU speech.
The couple killed—81 & 80 yrs old, ere very involved in local events, and he was the past President of the Reno Rodeo—a VERY big annual event.
Another problem was cultural. The Hispanic culture seems to have a male "macho" center. They woo their women, but then get them pregnant and keep them in the kitchen. There is heavy pressure to look macho to their peers. This includes drinking and slapping to include punching their women and children. Infidelity is high so there is almost always family strife and beer to get things started on Friday evening.
My daughter knew many of the prisoners personally after 10-15 arrests. It almost always increased in violence from assault and under the influence of something, to more serious assaults all the way to murder. It usually starts with fists, graduates to knives and then to guns. Over a period of time, maybe 7-10 years, they will move from misdemeanors to felonies, until they finally go to prison for decades. The fines and jail time, with costs of courts and judges can go to the hundreds of thousands for the same guy over a period of 10 years.
If there were some rating system that would follow these people and deport them after some point system was reached, we could save millions. After a couple of assaults moves to rape or using a weapon, they could be culled from our system because we can know that they aren't learning any lessons from what we are doing now.
Another problem that really messes up our system is they are "illegal". They have no birth cert, social security number, no shot record, no insurance, no school records, nothing to show who they really are in our system. The same man will come to jail and my daughter might know them as Hernandez, but they are booked as Hondo. The next visit might say Miguel. The next, some other name. Our system needs to be based on DNA or facial recognition, or even fingerprints. A DUI usually doesn't get close scrutiny in a federal database. If they have a rap sheet with multiple DUI's and a couple of assaults, we might not be able to connect them to a murder or robbery because we really never know who we are dealing with. They could be stacking up felonies right in front of our noses, but we won't be able to put it together without a fingerprint match or even DNA after results have to be compared in a huge database. A question I don't know is does the Border patrol fingerprint and get DNA from every illegal caught and released to add to our data base? If anyone knows, I would be interested. Most cops just let them go knowing they have gotten a false name and address and will not show up for court. Where will the warrant be served? Under what name?
Most politicians would not agree with sending an illegal home if the have a simple assault or DWI, but they really don't exactly know what the person has done over the years. It costs time and money to put together the DNA and fingerprint studies. If you punch a guy at a bar and are brought in, you may have a murderer in your midst, but won't realize it until after you release the guy to the world. With an incorrect address and name, the chances are slim of picking them back up. Many buy ID, SS#, fake insurance cards come with a fake license. This just keeps kicking the can down the road until they finally make a mistake that won't go away.
A story my daughter told was she pulled a pick up truck over going the wrong way on a divided highway. She had to risk her life trying to get the truck to pull over at 3am on the wrong side of the road. The woman could not read road signs and spoke no English. She had no license or insurance, was not wearing a seat belt, and no safety sticker on the truck. My daughter eventually had to call the bilingual officer out to help. He spoke to her and suspected she was illegal and the truck was borrowed from a relative. He called the duty officer and explained what was going on and it was decided to let her go to the motel she was gong to to be with her "Baby Daddy"!!! She had no license and insurance and was allowed to go in the truck! His rationale was we couldn't know where she lived and not even what her real name was so if they wrote the tickets, and impounded the truck, she would spend the night in jail, a family member would pay bail and it would be over, never to see her again. The chief is now gone, for financial irregularities at the station, but the practice is common. Things that would cost me thousands and jail time, she just walked away from.
The local college is the same. They get in state tuition, no birth certs, no shot records, no insurance, no Social Security # and they go to our state funded college. It has reached the point of madness.
Good post...That has to be happening across the country in areas with high concentrations of illegal aliens.
Police in some areas are overwhelmed. Politicians ignore it to keep their voter base. The media in many cases don’t print it because of their liberal bias and the flak they’d get from illegal alien activist groups.
And all the while Schumer and Pelosi rally their Dems against President Trump because he actually wants to do something about this terrible problem and the cost in lives, injuries and taxpayer dollars.
Since one of my family members owned a store in the mall, I am relatively certain it is because they commit 5 times as much crime.
She had to stop taking checks because they ALWAYS bounced when they were written by a certain race.
And although the mall population was 80% white, 80% of her shoplifting problem was by that same race.
She eventually gave up ( and gave p being a bleeding heart liberal too )
Getting mugged by reality concentrates the mind.
