... progressive superstars like 29-year-old U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)... This just amazes me. She never is correct on facts, is totally wrong on economic policy, thinks Maduro in Venezuela is a model Socialist state, and is as dumb as a bag of hammers, but she's a "superstar"?

A superstar depending on your definition of superstar, I guess. To me, a nobody rookie Congress critter who gets more media attention than any other member of her clan, while driving the party in the direction that leads right off a cliff, is remarkable whatever you call it.

Cortez takes on the DNC Establishment, to the delight of her followers. They scorn the DNC about like most of us scorn the RNC. Her followers discount her obvious ignorance because they are enthusiastic about her basics message. Do not underestimate this woman, even though I agree, her ignorance is comical from the real world perspective.
