Anyone who continues to question whether [manmade global warming] is happening should be ostracized from the public debate. They should not be invited on cable news or the Sunday Shows to spread misinformation and outright lies. These voices have been granted legitimacy for far too long.

Do what I say, or the Planet dies!!!

--------------------------------------------------

Too much sci-fi peddled as education.

This sort of scenario has been peddled on TV and the movies for decades.

Not too surprising some are buying it.

Not exactly:
“Net zero means that over the course of a year, the electricity generated by the system will more than offset all the electricity needed to operate El Dorada’s 28 acre new car, used car, and service facility.”

That means they use the grid as their gigantic battery.

Big difference.

I am all for a variety of power sources.

Solar is still heavily susidized.

Be nice if it were economic on its own for grid use.

It is economic in quite a few remote locations.

Better batteries would make it better yet.

Not sure I see Clean Technica as a reliable source.

The referenced article is about a computer model for solar power costs.

I do not find computer models to be convincing for predicting the future.

“He was a senior scientist for 26 years at the Natural Resources Defense Council.”

That alone discredits him for me. NRDC is one of the most irresponsible scare groups, making huge dollars off their scare tactics.

If you are relying on American Thinker as a credible source, you are SOL.

Clean Technica is merely an news index. In the first sentence they link to the scientific journal where the study is published

Yes.

And the article says, in Clean Technica, that it is a computer model of solar cell prices.

I have seen a tremendous number of junk science articles published in scientific journals.

The medical journals are especially bad.

(This article was not published in a medical journal)

Of course you wouldn't hire him because you are a nobody.

Here's his Wikipedia Page:

That is your poorly informed opinion.

The authors have names and the first works for MIT.

They are much more credible than you because you are an anonymous nobody in an internet chat room
