Too big of a vehicle, it wouldn’t fit in many places.

I lived through numerous layoffs until I didn’t.
Got a good severance package and never looked back.

Trump will certainly be blamed. Watch the MSM throw a party.

What, and speak hindi too?

Because they aint getting coding jobs here. The bi companies want overseas coders on h1bs to pay them way less, or even have them do coding in india.

I’m not really worried about it.

I’ve been way worse jams and found a way to survive.

Recent video on YouTube wherein one of the GM EOs was bragging about how much of their ops had been or were being moved to China...

Didn’t save the link but it’s probably still out there...

Maybe they can make up for loss of sales in the US with sales in China...But China car sales are supposedly in a slump...GM has problems, and mostly of their own making...

That was one reason.

I’ve watched enough good Top Gear to learn that.

He’d almost need a lorry license for the 150 over there. Some people would be scared and call for armed police or even SAS if it rolled through England.

I’m sure it will turn out fine for you.

Like I said, been there, done that.

We invested in a Friend’s Business and I doubt I’ll ever see that money again, but I lost even more money because of Obamacare, about $50,000 give or take. We survived a little poorer than I anticipated, but we’re still squeaking by.

Somehow that magical $2,500 Yearly Check never made it to my Mailbox. It would have helped to cover about 45 days worth of Healthcare Premiums. Thank you Lord Obama...

Haha ya, they might.

The English seem to have lost a lot of their stiff upper lip.

>>>These plant closings by Government motors seems politically motivated. The economy is doing very well.

Yes, but sales of sedans, whch these plants produce, are plummeting.

The economy is doing very well......

Depends upon the sector I’d guess. But this isn’t exactly new news.

Fords in SW Alaska have a real issue with the electronics for all of the systems getting messed up because it is so wet there. “Yeah, it’s been in three times, and then it starts acting up. As long as we keep it below 15 mph and it doesn’t try to shift into second we’ll be okay.”

When it did shift into second it would stall, wait a few minutes to start again, and off we went. Hills were a challenge. Turned 40 miles of dirt road into a nightmare afternoon.

Dodges have big electrical issues too and trasmission issues. The ride is also terrible.

This is why I stick with my Chevy, but there has to be something else that can contend.

On a side note, I’m thinking about driving that way this summer. I’ve been everywhere else, and I live in Northern Alberta. I always see the traffic coming and going from there because of the Alaskan Hwy. It might be my turn to do it.

I was a satisfied GM customer too. I would have still bought GM even though I disagreed with the bailouts, but screwing over the bondholders was too much.

GM sells more cars in China than in the USA.

A former co-irker had a Dodge minivan and she complained about the wonky transmission a lot.

A current co-irker has a dilapidated and run down Dodge Dakota that somehow still runs despite almost complete lack of maintenance.

Sometimes things get fluky.

I need a hard working heavy duty.

Toyota was going to make one, but then the 2009 crash happened.

My Tacoma does fine for daily driving. I have a trailer for extra capacity. That 5x8 trailer from Lowes was one of the best things I ever bought.

I hope to have both jeeps in the operational column by summer. They will take the bulk of daily commuting.
