FULL TITLE: Sanctity of Caterpillars: Virginia Legislator Who Pushed Infanticide Law Also Filed Bill To Save Bugs

ShareTweet Democrat Delegate Kathy Tran, who submitted the horrifying legislation that would have allowed babies to be murdered even after birth, also filed legislation to ensure the sanctity of life for “fall cankerworms.”

Tran filed “H.B. 2495 Fall cankerworm; spraying prohibited during certain months,” a bill that would protect the lives of caterpillars and other insects during certain months, on the same day she filed “H.B. 2491 Abortion; eliminate certain requirements,” the defeated legislation that would have made it legal for a new mother to give birth, then determine that she does not want the child and have it killed.

H.B. 2495 would protect the lives of gypsy moths, cankerworms, and other insects that may carry diseases harmful to humans, by preventing pest control spraying for them between the months of March and August.

Tran received nationwide backlash for her abortion legislation this week, and it was only escalated when Virginia Governor Ralph Northam endorsed the legislation, and described the bill further. Northam, who received nearly $2 million from Planned Parenthood, suggested that a mother could give birth then determine she does not want to keep the child.

Really? This sounds like something from The Onion. What is the matter with VA voters? Are there no sane people, only government workers, left in that state?

the defeated legislation that would have made it legal for a new mother to give birth, then determine that she does not want the child and have it killed.

But first Planned Parenthood would have a chance to choose which parts of the murdered kid they want.

"preventing pest control spraying for them between the months of March and August."

I'm confused, shouldn't this be about the Pest Control's choice not the pest? Our goals should be that spraying to kill these bugs is rare but legal...

A mother CAN ALREADY give birth and then decide if she wants the child. Its call ADOPTION. And there is no shortage of couples who want a child.

Even more interesting is that those months is when eggs are being laid, so she’s not only protecting bugs but bug babies.

That says it all. They are 100% willing to sacrifice millions of babies to the great god of feminism.

Ironic that a Vietnamese boat people refugee fleeing killing field communist persecution would sponsor legalizing infantcide?
You can take the peasant out of their commie hellhole, but you can’t take the communism out of the peasant...

Born in Vietnam, Tran and her parents fled as boat refugees when she was seven months old.[1]
She is a Duke University graduate with a -> Masters in Social Work <- degree from the University of Michigan.[2]

Northam, who received nearly $2 million from Planned Parenthood, suggested that a mother could give birth then determine she does not want to keep the child.

Even worse, he suggested the mother could give birth, then the doctor would suggest killing the infant. He said that was only in cases of severe deformities which had nothing to do with the bill which was about killing healthy babies.

You can look this up on the Virginia House of Delegates web server that shows information about Virginia's legislators.

Kathy Tran was indeed the "chief sponsor" of separate bills which would make it unlawful to kill cankerworms at certain times of the year and make it easier to kill babies during the 3rd trimester and commit infanticide.

https://virginiageneralassembly.gov
https://virginiageneralassembly.gov/house/members/members.php?id=H0305 (Kathy Trans legislation, see "chief patron")

HB 2491 and 2495 submitted both on the same day Jan 19th.

I would like to see a Republican state legislator introduce a bill to legally designate human babies as caterpillars.
