I’m guessing Trump already uses Mira Lago or some other Florida property as his official residence for tax purposes. Listening to how Rush describes it, every day Trump works in NYC, the State of New York STILL assesses an income tax but only a moron would declare New York their official residence and let that socialist state screw him in the ass on a daily basis.
baloney! Trump should stand firm and try to support reversal of the new law not run away from it.
The so called conservatives who may want to ask Trump to move are wimpy!
Perhaps Cardinal Dolan should relocate as well.

DJT needs to strip the Trump Tower and relocate especially after his second term ends..he has many properties to visit for vacations...and he has the Hotel in DC.

You are correct - I live here - upstate in Cohoes and grew up in the southern tier/Finger Lakes region.
New York State under the control of “LIBERALS AND DEMOCRATS” is not going to change - it will get worse.
The only option is to move which we might do once my husband retires in a few years.

I don’t know the laws and #of days you are required to be in state. It could get tricky being president.my mother had to document her days in each state when she changed residency.
The State of New York is a lost cause, Conservatives will never hold any seat of power there, to many whack Leftists and immigrates from Socialist nations...As Christ told his disciples shake the dust from your feet and move on..Conservatives would be wise to get out as soon as possible and never look back as something bad is coming for these States that uphold this abortion law..
If there is a Civil War II, and the Left loses, New York City and it’s Leftist suburbs (if they survive!) must be made into a giant prison like in the Escape from New York movie.

Like your screen name, read the book. Well God will allow Judgement to befall these States and the people who support such evil, that is certain!
If The President is still a resident of NY then he’d report all income, pay taxes to those states outside NY on that state’s income, then receive credits for taxes paid to those states.
To the extent a state like FL has no income tax, he’d get no credit and would pay the equivalent of NY tax on his Florida income.
His interest and dividends are all reported in the state of his resident, NY, regardless of where the bank, corporation etc are located or HQd
IOW, NY with its high rates gets the lion’s share.
Move to the new Socialist Republic of Michigan. Similar location to where you are at is Antrim County. Conservative hotbed. Home of Torch Lake voted the most beautiful lake in the world. Give NY the finger....move to MI!
