Laura Ingraham, the host of Fox News’ "The Ingraham Angle," called out President Trump for delaying his State of the Union address until after the partial government shutdown is over.
She called Trump's move a "bad decision" and said that she would give a series of three speeches as an alternative. She said she’d give the first speech in Detroit, the second at the border and a third at Ellis Island.
"Bad decision by @potus," she tweeted. "Go to America and give the nation a #SOTU. Sent the written form to petty Pelosi."

Weak move on Trumps part.
Everything will be fine when President Trump declares a national emergency.
I’m learning to trust Trump’s judgement and instincts. I believe he has a reason for doing this!
I’m also learning not to trust the instincts and judgements of commentators like Ingraham. They are very often wrong!
Fine except for the court decision and then the appeals that will take until after the election. He hasn’t shown any indication he will tell a court they have no standing on national defense decisions. If he can’t start substantial wall sections by the election, he is toast.
Ingraham is ready to bail on Trump at every drop of the hat.
This ain’t over by a long shot. Trump has something up his sleeve & is giving the Dims enough rope to hang themselves.
Amazing how everyone, without all the information, always knows what Trump should be doing, yet Trump always wins.

I agree with Laura. After all the hype and histrionics the past week Trump could give the speech from my garage and it would still be the most watched SOTU in decades. A seriously squandered opportunity.
Same here. President Trump can continue to give speeches, rallies, tweets and press announcements as often as he likes, all the while saying they're not the SOU. Meanwhile, he gets messages out to the people, and Nasty Pee-lousy can't do anything about that. Nasty will lose the war with President Trump.
It’s not what I would have done, but Trump has instincts that keep on serving us well . Nanzi needs to be destroyed and I learned back in the Navy the most effective way to end a bad order was to follow it rigidly. Perhaps he’s setting up Nanzi for blowback.

I find her insufferable. She’s always saying “I told you so” for often trivial details. Plus, she’s obnoxiously snide. I don’t think she’s nearly as smart as she thinks.
Wrong, Laura. He did the unexpected & took the high ground abandoned by Pelosi. First he dragged her down into the mud (tit for tat) & when no one was on the high ground, he took it back. He’s not being all the things the Dems say he is - tyrant, etc. He looks Presidential, she looks like a petty b!tch.
