I condemn the actions of the Diocese of Covington towards Nicholas Sandmann and his classmates and chaperones specifically, and faithful Catholics in general, Jan. 18, after the March for Life, in Washington, D.C. I extend my deepest apologies to Nick and his family. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person.
The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including referral to Federal authorities for RICO violations in combination with other violations and sins of omission on the part of the Catholic hierarchy.
We know this incident also has tainted the entire witness of the March for Life and express our most sincere apologies to all those who attended the March and all those who support the pro-life movement.
It is sad when the biggest national news story for days is that some guy got his feelings hurt by some high school kids.

Catholic schools have devolved into being former institutions of morals, ethics and there for true learning. These type of incidents are happening in small and (as this one) large incidents whereby students who are true to the school and life have had to fight for criminal indictments because of false accusations.
