How is it that the diocese believed the misleading media report rather than investigating before apologizing?
Probably on orders from Bergoglio.
Could it be, the diocese is afraid of what the NY Times will say about them, afraid of the media, afraid of the harsh judgements of the left? So they had a knee jerk reaction that their kids were in the wrong, without knowing any facts.
There is a real fear of the left in this country. I believe that is at least part of the reaction of the church.
