I've read this time and again the past couple of years yet nowhere have I read an explanation that makes any sense as to why Steele has such a case of the jaws with Trump. Is it Steele himself!? Or is it the British government that actually wanted their shill Hill in place to protect, and to serve them?

I suspect it’s more wanting Hillary than hating Trump.
The wife raised the same question. If Steele is a British citizen, why would he have such a consuming interest in US politics? An opinion, perhaps a strong one, yes, but his reported ardor in this matter is way over the top.
I don’t believe Steele had anything to do with the dossier. He loaned his name in exchange for money. He was used so the Coup could claim valdation from reputable foreign sources.
The dossier was hatched by Glenn Simpson and wife from gossip rumors about Trump from years ago. Tablet Magazine had it right long ago.
