Didnt they breathalyze him? I read that somewhere. Well likely never find out if he was approximately Schlitzed while behind the wheel, but Im betting he was. Two glasses of sherry and a snifter of cognac would leave old Phil toasted.

Taking the car keys away from an aging parent is no fun. Ive had to do it once, with the sequel coming very soon.Mom gave me hers, at 90-91 after a couple of near misses.

97 and only a Prince. That’s gotta sting.

A friend of mine took out a spark plug on his dad’s car. He told his dad that a part is on order but it is a difficult one to find. So far, so good.

I have no problems with elderly people driving. I do think driving tests need to be more frequent, due to general diminishing health, but if you can pass them, DRIVE, BABY, DRIVE!

Obviously the CBS staff reporter who wrote this has never lived in a Monarchy.
When you are a Prince of the Realm you can drive yourself to death. And that’s just the way it is.

The person the prince hit should go directly to the tower of London. How dare he get in the way of royalty! My word!

At 97 he probably spends his evenings getting out of the car.
To: CondoleezzaProtege
The taxpayers bought him a new car.

What a lie. At 2:45 pm the sun is still high in the sky. It's not low enough to shine in a driver's eye at that time of day. From the picture, it looks more like he pulled out into oncoming traffic.

We don't know yet who was at fault.
I have a 97 year old friend who gave up driving a few months ago.
I would still trust him over most folks younger than him.
A former rally driver, drove in the Trans Africa Rally.
His reflexes and other driving abilities are just now slowing down to that of an average person.
