I agree. It was to plot stuff with the European leaders. The Afghanistan (and maybe Egypt) part was intended to make the departure top secret, so Trump wouldn’t know and call them out. Oh well.

She has no business over there. As for her fake thing about wanting to thank the troops she could go down to the southern border of the USA and thank all the border patrol for risking their lives while working without a paycheck.
It was most likely another staged event to embarrass the President. I think he has her attention and the next meeting will be real interesting.

If Trump REALLY WANTED to troll them, he’s say his highest priority job is protecting the morale of the troops, which is why he needed to call off their flight.
I can understand keeping travel plans for high profile government officials quiet, but was this kept quiet from the bad guys or just the American people? How long ago was it scheduled? Who was going to which countries for how long to meet with whom? Why go now, during the time when the 30 day mark passes for furloughed government workers?
I’d really like the skinny behind this trip. We sure as heck haven’t gotten it so far.
