On Thurs night?
Bingo.
I’ve got a men’s bible study and prayer group that meets on Thursdays. In fact, I’m not sure there’s a single that one small group or another isn’t meeting at our church. And we’re not that big, so it isn’t unusual.
Choirs often practice on Thursday nights.
“On Thurs night?”
At many Catholic parishes Thursday is the traditional evening for Exposition and Adoration and Benediction.
The church Facebook page says they were there for ESL class.

We continue to pray for the two victims of this senseless tragedy. As you have likely seen in media reports, one woman has died and a second, her adult daughter, is in critical condition.
