The thing that gets me about the Forest Hills mayor is that she’s getting paid $80,000 per year. The second lady...based on news items from 2015, I suspect she’s making at least $60,000 a year. Both could have easily pulled out cash from their personal pocket and spent this with ease. It makes no sense to get this deep into a scandal, over stupid book-signing tour tickets. They both need to be fired and get regular jobs.

The pair allegedly received reimbursements for two $545 tickets for Obama’s Becoming book tour. The expense was approved by the city manager, and Hayes received a check, but she said she paid it back when members of a citizens committee voiced concern. I always love these excuses....Its all kosker cuz she paid it back when someone found out. Not that the Grifting was unethical and most likely illegal.
