Maybe Sen Whitehouse didnt hear about this-----(smirk)
Sheldon was busy mfg rape crimes in RI against Justice Kavanaugh (that turned out to be patently false).

JUST FOR YOU SHELDON, BABY:
Russian operative Veselnitskaya provides clear evidence of then-Pres Obama cravenly using the US intel apparat for "crime harvesting"
setting up Trump for a "crime" that existed only in their swamp-infested minds;

A conspiracy to set up Trump's campaign via Hillary's bought-and-paid-for fake Russian dossier.

All of it was Obama's police state colluding to "harvest a crime"
End Game: the tinpot Halfrican and his conscripts plotted to nail Trump for "contacts with foreign leaders."

POINTS TO PONDER, SHEL, BABY:
<><>Veselnitskaya was welcomed into the US by the Obama police state,
<><> Obama courteously provided the Russian with an office,
<><> Obama's lawless DOJ surveilled American citizens,
<><> one Obama govt factotum was tasked to brazenly warn candidate Trump to back off.....or else.

Which explains the goofy, OMG! look on the Halfrican's face when he met Pres-elect Trump.

All the dirt Hillary was expected to sweep under the rug, was now in the hands of the man Obama tried to destroy.

Indict him for opposing their agenda.

That’s the only real ‘crime’ Trump is guilty of and they know it.

They’ll take a globalist Bush Republican as the fake opposition now and then. But they can’t take Trump. They’re trying to tell the solid 42% behind Trump no matter what that their votes don’t matter. They have no choice left in our Republic and they just need to stay home election day.

If they can’t get Trump, they’ll destroy anyone that goes near him — family, friends, advisor, attorney, anyone.

Year ago one of the Obama officials said she carried around Mao’s “Little Red Book.” She said democracy is a sham. That’s what they believe.

Another, Ron Bloom is the Manufacturing Czar. In the video he admits, “We kind of agree with Mao that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.”

This is about POWER. They want it, demand it, and won’t let anyone stand in their way from grabbing and keeping it.

First he incorrectly interprets the Constitution when his asinine assertion is challenged. Then, he cites NIXON as precedence to support his position? What an imbecile. If this douche knew anything about the Nixon case, or the Constitution for that matter, he would know that it was specifically understood that Nixon COULD NOT be indicted while holding the office of the Presidency. He had to be impeached first then removed from office before any legal proceedings against him were initiated.

BTW - Does this asshat even know what Nixon did wrong? I bet he doesn’t. What does he think Nixon should have been charged with? Note that Nixon was never charged with a crime. Obama was far more guilty of high crimes & misdemeanors as well as abuse of power than Nixon or Trump could ever measure up to.

Consider the implications of indicting a sitting president.

If he can be indicted why cannot he be arrested? If arrested why not incarcerated? If incarcerated why not denied bail? We then have the preposterous picture of the president of the United States commanding armies in time of war from a jail cell.

If the indictment, arrest and incarceration are brought for an alleged violation of a state crime before a state judge, how reliable would a writ of habeas corpus be in securing the release of the president of the United States? Suppose a state, California comes to mind, declares that not only is it a sanctuary state but it is a state of coequal jurisdiction and declines to observe any federal court orders?

Do we have a Civil War?

One can imagine a very similar scenario for the indictment and arrest of a president for an alleged federal crime.

The Constitution provides a remedy, the remedy is impeachment and the Constitution also provides the requisites for impeachment. The remedy provided by the Constitution is there to prevent the absurdities advocated by Democrats in this article. It is these requisites for impeachment which the Democrats seek to evade if they are really interested in prosecuting the chief executive for high crimes and misdemeanors. But of course they are not interested in that, they are just interested in weakening the president so that he is forced to resign or cannot be reelected. Meanwhile, the Democrats in the House Of Representatives can undertake to rule the country as the radical Republicans attempted to rule the country after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

Let us not forget that the radical Republicans' attempt to impeach President Johnson failed, albeit narrowly, because it was not directed against high crimes or misdemeanors but for differences of policy. The Constitution's impeachment clause is designed to block criminalization of policy.

Pelosi et al cannot defend THEIR shutdown, so the word has gone out to the party and their own virtual party-media - the LameStreamMedia - to shift the narrative to “Russian Collusion”.

“I think that if there are crimes that he has committed he should be indicted.

And, those crimes are what?

I don't think kicking Bolshekrat butt is a crime.

Don’t think Congress can “indict” anyone.

They can issue articles of impeachment. They can make a criminal referral to the DOJ. But Congress has no power to “indict.”

I get the impression Trump is holding a lot of “drop-dead” cards and will ‘show’ them if/when he has to, and if/when they’ll do the most damage.

I hope-anyway :)

Will a Bill of Impeachment is a sort of indictment but that’s done in the House. This is just Whitehorse posturing!

Why do Senators from Rhode Island look and sound like they’re both aristocratic and inbred?

“DEMOCRATIC SENATOR SAYS WE'RE ‘MOVING TOWARD INDICTMENT’ OF TRUMP”

I hate to see it happen but if it's gonna happen, do it.

Let the House impeach tomorrow morning so the Senate can acquit tomorrow afternoon.

Then go on to the next thing.
