So— what happened with Kevin McCarthy who was banging NC rep Rene Ellmers (no longer there)... which was “hushed up” with maybe some of that special fund in congress to cover such things? Hmmm?

Hearing radio ads from some PAC about how “Mccarthy and the Conservatives are going to......... something or other. McCarthy is frankly a doof ball. Ryan’s toadie.

King wants to clarify? Ask the question—”Is Black Lives Matter.. black supremacy or saying that White Lives or any other lives DONT matter?” We have other members of Congress, already on the Congressional Record.... saying as much that some lives matter MORE. To satisfy their Leftist looney voters. Seriously.

McCarthy is a buffoon. Get the radio playback King— and play back the question “set up” to be answered. Panties in a wad McCarthy.

The way to stop language being manipulated is to flat out state what is what. There are islamic and black racists currently in Congress. Right now.

Money.

A dynamic in the House that many don’t see is the influence of Representatives from rich Districts.
A Rep from a poor District has nothing but reason to influence others. A Rep from a rich District has the money of his donors to influence them.
Kevins backers have rich donors.

Dr. Phil is a pretty piss poor meme to use with this concept. What a fakir. Why not someone more intelligent by.... light year’s multiplication, Someone like Jordan Peterson, who is a real clinical psychologist and successfully combated and criticized political correctness and the Canadian government’s Bill C-16. This politically correct speech act added gender identity as a prohibited ground of discrimination to the already burdensome racial and bigotry prohibited speed. Peterson characterized the Act as an introduction of compelled speech into law.

McCarthy should spend more time going after the HIGHLY offensive (to any true conservative) speech that is in current use in THIS Congress. To include black hatred, and islamofascism, and frankly vulgar speech from crazed LGBT and islamo-loons. thank you.

I read the article. I wonder what King’s remarks were in context?

Wow! Are we to fully trust the NY Times in their quotes of King? And the inevitable banging of the gong which follows from the MSM? I’m surprised so many are falling for this “you’re a racist “ trap again. There’s nothing wrong with embracing Western culture and values. Just as there’s nothing wrong with embracing the values and cultures the world over. To each his own. (Unless, of course, you embrace cultures that like cutting people’s heads off for disagreeing with you. Or stoning people. In the 21st century) It seems quite obvious what they’re doing with taking things out of context. Move on Mr McCarthy. Don’t lay down like a doormat.

I can’t open the link here so what did he say?

Steve King to the New York Times:

“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?” Mr. King said. “Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”

Maybe start by giving him a geography lesson about where the Confederacy was located in relation to Iowa.

“White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?” King said to The New York Times last week. “Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?”

Sounds like a reasonable question that he poises considering all the talk about exterminating all white people.

King, who has a long history of statements that have been criticized as racist, later released a statement labeling white supremacy an “evil ideology.”

Ah, I see, He has a long history of being accused of racism.
I don't even need to see his remarks in context to see what this is about.

A democrat can call Trump a m———f-—— and no Republican will blink an eye, but, damn it all, no one had better say anything that has a whiff of non-pc in the meaning.

Spot on. The elitist pigs running the GOP have no idea the rage on Main Street at their doormat posture. People are disgusted with them. We want a fighter against rampaging Demofascists and instead we get pathetic wimps like climbing careerist Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy is an elected Republican from CA. Perhaps he pines for permanent minority status with the perks of office included? It sure seems that way.

The solution is plain for the Republicans to show absolute purity of thought: Replace King with a democrat. That will prove that Republicans are not racists.

That’s exactly what happened in Alabama when the senior GOP Senator from Alabama barnstormed the state on elect eve defacto campaigning for Democrat Doug Jones.

How are the remarks are racist?

If the Democrats say they're racist, then they're racist. Don't ask questions. This isn't a debate. Now go disown Steve King.

Either he is undergoing a neurological event, Iike a stroke, tia, aggressive dementia, or an active addiction, probably to alcohol, which impairs his impulse control. Either way he needs to be led off the stage.

Don't be silly.

Ah, I see, He has a long history of being accused of racism.

They are false accusations, but King seems to invite them with gaffes. There was a time when I wanted King to run for president, but he keeps putting his foot in his mouth. Now Republicans have to patiently explain that King is not a Nazi, and that Republicans don't support Nazism. Thanks heaps, Steve.

Kevin McCarthy. What a crud. HOWEVER, according to GWP, the NYT story is a lie.

As a black man, I support Kings statement. Honestly, I didn’t think he even needed a clarification (unless the initial report was taken out of context). I am more pleased with the fact that HE DID NOT APOLOGIZE. Yes, I capitalized that for a reason.

Permission to speak further? Thank you...

For the most part, I don’t even blame this left for defining the what can and cannot be said. I put the blame on our side for putting up with it. For pete’s sake - one allegation is made, and Republicans run for cover, with everyone wanting to be the first to throw their colleagues under the bus, or out of the party. Message to the GOP: They think we’re all racists anyway. How about learning from them, and circling the wagons around your own for a change?

else, they’ll just keep picking you off one at a time.

I’m done.
