I get it. Chuckie will lie about what Trump said in the meeting thereby making the POTUS insist all meetings will be in public. Transparency.Nothing to hide.

CNN Staff Meeting: What can we do to hurt Trump and the Republicans?

Chorus: Let’s lie, to try to make them fight each other!

CNN... anonymous source... what? You don’t believe them?

But... but... they’re the media!

Good analysis. IMHO, if Trump did in fact scold Mulvaney, it was all a pre-planned charade.

True...or at least video the meetings, so that Trump can release the video, should they lie.

I believe it. Little as frustrating as someone stepping on your negotiations. I once told a partner to stand up and take a seat on the other side of the table.

Bingo— the old “salesman” trick-— the one two fakeroo. “HE said that to you? He doesn’t know what I know... that wasn’t right. But... he gave me permission to speak for him. I’m taking over his sales territory.”.... That one— from two reps who split commission.

Tend to like the notion that the “cover” of the new job that Mulvaney has, coupled with this supposed “outburst” is a beautifuly camouflage for what Mulvaney is doing. And some jacksnipe at CNN (or their deep state contact handler’s) idea of a swipe targeting Mulvaney because they know what he is doing and that it is perfectly legal part of the Executive Branch.... through OMB and the Treasury.

In the past things have been put up that will not work now.... like citing the Amendment that requires ‘recognizing the debt’ of the US. That is to say-— “gonna cause the US to default on it’s payments and lose world Credit rating”. Not gonna happen the US has enough money coming in... daily to pay the amounts needed to be paid... and then some. Especially since money from the Treasury is not currently going OUT of the Treasury as pay— at least not the 15% or less not getting paid.

Entirely possible, any slight mention of a reduced amount
is all the dems will hear and then try to negotiate that
amount down. Not to mention that it would soon be leaked
to the press as, “President moves to meet house demands”.

I think DJT is totally capable of hearing something during a negotiating meeting from one of his people, then saying “whoa” we ain’t working up from there. We are starting at 5.7 and going up. Come on Micky don’t sugar coat it, it just eff’s things up. He didn’t make his fortune negotiating with construction contractors and unions saying “oh my”. Gotta get off the porch to run with the big dogs.

If it’s CNN, “a source in the room” means STRAIGHT FROM OUR ASSES aka imagination/fake news.

Hope you meant “ASSES” in a bodily feature sense. My Molly mule is sensitive, not as sensitive as Clint Eastwood’s but she is a girl. 😜

How many of these employees are unionized?

If most or many, this gets very interesting, because it means the unions won’t be getting paid either. They can probably only go a short time before the leadership, along with all the things they influence, falls apart.

...meanwhile, many are probably going to get short term employment - there’s plenty of jobs. Some might experience the private sector being more beneficial and not come back. So even after this is all over the union revenue base might still take a significant hit.

Hmmmmmm......

Hey— the unions can always float loans to their more valued members by asset loans from all their real estate investments in condominiums and tract home developments in FL and elsewhere in the US. These do exist in their “investment” portfolio that performs as a “slush fund” to bury “donations” of in kind salary return. Through their lobbying law firms. This is how it is done. About which in re: Fusion GPS... see, bag man from Perkins Coie law firm (the Podesta payoff people and also the Gillum challenge to the now Governor DeSantis of FL— same guy from Perkins Coie that handled the money paid to Mr. Steele for his “dossier”). Crooks-— all of them. Just imagine— the bill the 8 repubs supported with the dems to selectively “fund” (which btw is NOT needed) included funding the freaking IRS, cause they couldn’t have “non-essential” but unionized employees, now could they? Hint— IRS and all fedgov not subcontracting are unionized... and lobby for more pay from these same congress apparatchiks.
