My take on this?
* Roberts is a squish, they got something on him.
* So at best the Court is 4, 4, 1 and Kavanaugh is untested so even that is a stretch.
* I have been saying this since even Justice Kavanaugh got on the court, and no one would respond, it's is looking like my 4-4-1 take on things isn't off.
* So we get A.C.Barrett and we then become 5,3,1.
* "LS" had a great thread on twitter of where he thinks it will end up, go read it.
* Breyer is 80, the Wise Latina diabetes, is a problem and Thomas wants to retire and go RV-ing.
If PDJT gets re-elected (I think MI is a gonner, it is going to be hard to pull off) he has the possibility of getting up to 3 more.

Moore had gone straight from high school to West Point to Vietnam to law school, and missed out on dating in his twenties during the 1960s. I'd bet that most women his age in his small town were married when he returned, so he looked younger. The left turned this into a deviance because Moore was a righteous religious man, which is why he went into the MPs in the first place.
Don't think they won't try to use Barrett's religion as a weapon against her, too. They used Romney's reputation against him, Kavanaugh's against him, even Palin's against her.
They will be ruthless and unscrupulous against Barrett, and with no shame in doing so.

Justice Ginsburg will be lauded no end by the Left until the day she dies. The very next day they will heap scorn upon her by the truckload.
I was just saying to hubby how can the dims come up with these stories and convictions of someone like Kavanaigh and the dossier and just get off scot free. No apology, no shame, nothing. Move on to the next..... the audacity!

My prediction: they will talk nonstop about Trump’s illegitimacy and the need to counteract his picks by expanding the court the next time the dems have control. They know they won’t be able to block another Trump nominee but they will condition the public to accept court packing.

I predict there will be no mechanism to verify the elder Justus writings will be her own—just that of law clerks or local DC city council members for many years after she succumbs. I think ugly is the right word for what’s coming if Judge Barret is the nominee. Sex as a negative only works against men; with a woman it backfires. Insulting a religon popular with 1/4 of the population, and particularly Latinos is not helpful either. It will be extremism this time and a roll out of the “War on Women” once more, but the height of the furor will be nothing we have ever seen. The violence of the protests, not their theme, will be the strategy.
Yes the Dems have a real problem on their hands now. A good portion of Dem voters are getting fed up but an even larger segment are demanding a guillotine be set up on the White House lawn. If they cater to one, they lose the other and they need both.
There are people recovering memories now.
