Well the answer is obvious. We need even more boots on the ground to go after illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, the war on drugs continues.

Only California bureaucrats could manage to screw up selling drugs

Did the increased supply with legalization drive prices down?

So legalization is not stopping drug trafficking or drug crime?
I guess addictive drugs are different from alcohol and prohibition.

no doubt the jail for having un taxed pot is going to be much higher than it was for having illegal pot. Or is untaxed pot also illegal or dealing in untaxed pot is illegal?
So before it was illegal to have pot because the government says it was harmful. Now the government says its illegal to have pot if it is untaxed because, well its untaxed.
Its hard to keep up with nanny state logic.

Seriously: did anyone really think that when you tax something at a high rate, that a black market for the product would not exist?
Only a socialist would think that way.

Now, about that new California ammo tax...

I've read that many people are known to buy carloads of cigarettes in the Carolinas...where taxes are low...and bring them up I-95 to states like New York and New Jersey to make a huge profit.

Interesting conundrum for the West coast communists.
The outcome will have major implications for the rest of the states considering legalization.

Same things happening in Canada. All the leftists pot smokers are complaining prices are too high now that the dealers have to pay minimum wage excise taxes and regulations dealing with potency etc.
