Ruth shouldn’t be allowed to “make decisions” in cases she isn’t there for. I’m not here to impugn her character but I’d guess and say her interns are doing all that work for her now.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but I have no hopes up for her to be ill, but the reality is, She is elderly and frail, and now has had cancer 3 times... She’s fallen, I think twice now in recent memory.

The attempted canonization of her by the left is insane... But the left is insane generally so nothing new here.

But the reality is, her retirement from the court is coming, no matter how much they want to pretend otherwise. Seems to me she is bound and determined that that retirement will be forced by God.

Bet she's working on a personal worm farm atm.

Why would they give up the seat when they can fake it forever?

The Supreme Court should issue conservative decisions, not stupid statements like this.

Reminds me of the justice in Pelican Brief.

All they have to do is hook up the old broad to a heart lung machine and maintain 98.6 until the Biden rule kicks Jan 1, 2020 and then uplug. And I suspect that they’ve seriously considered it in consultation with Ruthie.

When do we get to know when somebody finally disconnects her life support machine and her clerks are no longer phoning their own decisions in signed “RBG”?

“This is what it looks like so far. Someone reliable needs to do a welfare check on her. I think she is now permanently incapacitated.”

I believe most states now have Adult Protective Services where the govt. will go to a house to check on the welfare of a senior as long as they have reason to believe something is wrong. Maybe we should publish that number in Ruthies state. lol

I agree that she might be on life support or incapacitated and her family and Dems are riding it out in hopes of Trump removal from office or something. Someone needs to have a friendly house call

The ridiculous attempt to canonize Justice Ginsburg is truly pathetic...

It's the laying of groundwork for their Hail Mary pass. They will have canonized RBG in the MSM as a liberal icon and will make the desperate case that Trump MUST nominate another liberal womyn to honor her legacy. Her funeral will rival McCain's for overwrought drama and probably run longer than Aretha's.

Good luck with that.

Is there any way that it can be verified that it's she who's 'doing the work' and not another stinkin' liberal hack?

I wonder what percentage of the legal writing is actually done by any of the Justices. I sometimes think the best thing we could do is strip most of the staff, leaving the Supreme Court with a shared secretary to answer the phones. If they had to do their own research and drafting, how many 80 year old Justices do you really think we'd have?

Then we do the same thing to Congress ….

Broken ribs = metastatic cancer

She’s personally damaging the Court. Hope she can live with that legacy.

“The ridiculous attempt to canonize Justice Ginsburg is truly pathetic...
I don’t agree with her legal philosophy, far more often than not, and respect what she has done with her life.
However, this hero worship of her by the left is insane.
Be ready for the insanity to reach unheard of levels should she pass
or retirer while Trump is still the President.”

It’s not canonization, it’s deification (careful how your read that) lol. She is now a demigod.

Yeah, she should be back in a couple of years. Just carry on without her and when ever Sotomeyer votes, just put her down for two.

I know I should laugh at your comment, but I won't. I've come to realize that you cannot over-satirize the left, because you end up eating your words.

There is a chance though that she lives into next election, which will make 2020 extremely important

Does anyone here believe her cancer is early-stage? Anyone?

It's as "early" as she is young.

The wild card here is Clarence Thomas - which is why we need the RBG seat and one more to protect the next generation.
