She's the subject of a Hollywood biopic and is very much alive, but the White House has been in contact with Senate Republicans about possible replacements for the ailing 85-year old Supreme Court justice.
The White House is even working on a short-list of possible nominees to replace Ginsburg, who broke her 25-year streak when she began missing oral arguments on Monday.
The White House counsel's office is even trading names with the office of new Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham. Politico published a list of them Thursday.
The short list of potential replacements for the ailing Ginsburg include Seventh Circuit judge Amy Coney Barrett, whose name got floated before Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh.
Others identified include Joan Larsen of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, Raymond Kethledge of the Sixth Circuit, Britt Grant of the Eleventh Circuit, and Thomas Hardiman of the Third Circuit, who served with Trump's sister, Maryanne Trump Barry.

I think there was quite a bit of support for Amy Barret even during the Kavanaugh debacle.
Whomever it is, I’m sure it will be female. I wonder if she will take on four male clerks to offset Judge Davanaugh’s four female clerks.
The Ginsburg biopic (Film) is an absolute box office flop....terrible would be what it should be called!!!
Perhaps the RATs have already got a look alike stand in to fall asleep in her place . Or a life like dummy .
75 should be the mandatory retirement age for all judges, especially ones who use international law to interpret cases and violates ethics rules by attacking political candidates and then not recusing herself when a case comes up involving his policies or decisions. Judges on medication in the hospital or at home should be suspended from performing duties.
I wish they would just put Mrs. Barry in there.

Ginsburg should be checked on weekly to make sure she is still coherent. I bet an assistant is communicating for her and is likely casting the votes as if they were a SC justice. If she isn’t present, she must be forced to vote live via Skype.
That movie will get Oscar nominations for the subject matter. And Ruth herself will find herself honored at the Oscars.
It will be interesting to see if the proglib crew will be dumb enough to produce an encore version of the last circus, basically a Kavanaugh 2.0.
Ticket sales will not be all that shiny...
