Senate Democrats on Thursday began a “blockade” of all legislation after Senate Republicans refused to consider two House-passed bills that would fund partially shut down government agencies without money for a border wall.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Thursday morning blocked the two bills that were introduced by the two Democratic senators from Maryland, where thousands of federal government workers reside. Democrats made it clear afterward that they wouldn't agree to take up any bills other than those to reopen the government.
“It’s my commitment to my federal workers and our country that the first order of business here should be the reopening of government,” said Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md.
Democrats this week already blocked work on a pro-Israel bill, and Thursday afternoon, the blocked it again when Republicans called it up for a vote. That bill wold have allowed states to stop doing business with companies that boycott Israel, a move aimed at fighting the global effort to boycott, divest and sanction Israel.
Work not getting done. That means no damage.
Obstruct we much.
Block it up for the next two years.
The less they work the better off we are.

“His” Federal Workers is right.
Now’s the time to DECLASSIFY the DOCUMENTS and declare a NATIONAL EMERGENCY to build the BORDER WALL.

This AND hold votes without the democrats. If they don't vote then the bill is passed by the majority of those present. The old style filibuster must be brought back or, GO NUCLEAR and do away with the "gentleman's filibuster" entirely!
Have the Democrats in the House fund the wall - and everything’s pechy.
A national emergency doesn’t have to be restricted to the wall. Illegal aliens could be stopped in the street for months on end. Round ‘em up. Send ‘em home. There are millions of them here. National emergency.

It would be unspent & uncommitted military construction money.
Since the military operates with “military efficiency”, there’s probably not a lot of such money.
The wall needs to be guarded. Walls are merely an impediment. Staffing is expensive.
Trump needs the $5.7 billion. And he needs to fight for it.
Perhaps Trump might offer to give Nancy and Chuck $1 billion for every $10 million they give him.
Are they really going to keep the government shut over $10 million?
One billion would pay a lot of federal workers.
Rinse and repeat.
Right on! But Trump is still trying to play the game of my way. It won't work and by now any real reasoned person would know the "game" is over. Will Trump recognize it? His hesitation is evident he is not sure. Real bad!!!!
