SUPREMACY CLAUSE- Article 6 clause 2 of the Constitution. Immigration and emigration fall under the full purview and authority of the Federal government and its Constitutional duties. It is NOT a 10th Amendment issue.

Yet again, the Seditious Democrat Party engages in the
“ same nullification that has been struck down as unconstitutional every single time it has come up in federal court, in United States v. Peters (1809), Osborn v. Bank of the United States (1819), Ableman v. Booth (1859), Cooper v. Aaron (1958).

The same nullification that had James Madison almost to his dying day speaking out against the doctrine, and defending himself against the charge that he had ever supported it. Of nullification, in 1834, he wrote, “A plainer contradiction in terms, or a more fatal inlet to anarchy, cannot be imagined.” “

Arizona tried to essentially enforce Federal law that Federal agencies would not. They were stopped.

The Deep State is in control. Nothing conservative will be permitted until the Deep State is stopped.

Nope Not a bad thing at all. In fact, the only way for the States to reassert their sovereignty is to defy FedGov.
The Federal gubmint has not business in the gun control debate because the Second Amendment is quite clear, and unambiguous. At the State level, however, there can clearly be restrictions. That is an issue for the citizens of the State.

..... Correct me if I am wrong .... But, I always thought that as long as a state remains in the Union .... It is subject to all federal laws within it .... However .... Anything that is not covered under the Constitution is then deferred to the individual states for their rulings.

..... In short ..... They can't pick and chose which Federal Laws they wish to keep .... They can only make rulings on items not covered under the Constitution.

Good Point
Anti abortion states can declare themselves sanctuary states for the unborn and they will not enforce or allow to be enforced federal abortion laws. Trump would not mind.

You are correct. The problem is the Federal government has made law that is "extra constitutional" and then imposed authority on the states in areas they do not have constitutional authority.

We already fought a war over that, go read up on the nullifiers...

Funny the democrats today are making the same arguments they were before the civil war about slavery and post civil war with the Jim Crow laws...

Yes, I know. Illegal aliens are the equivalent of their cheap slave labor today. And the corporations using and abusing them are the plantation owners.

If they had any need to be consistent, but they don’t. It was barely five years ago, and the SCOTUS was telling Arizona it did not have the right to enforce federal immigration laws as written if their means of doing so in any way conflicted with the federal government’s preferences.

Only on immigration.

The states MUST NOT defy the federal government on abortion or drugs.

The battle is building fast....they sense they are at a do-or-die cusp and are going all out to try to wrest America from the People....we need to stay strong and dedicated and pray that President Trump prevails.

You can’t have it both ways.

And yet we do have it both ways.
