The added benefit is that the 3 networks won't have time to editorialize against Trump....CNN and MSNBC will have to carry that water.

I’ve heard him giving comments during impromptu interviews, and during regular interviews, he should have been delivering national addresses from the Oval Office during prime time on a regular basis. The bully pulpit should have been used over and over again to circumvent the media and go directly to the people.

Consider that the US was engaged in WWI for only 18 months, and had active troops on the ground in Europe for less than 6 months. Similar - albeit longer - time frame for WWII; 3.5 years from Pearl to the Nazi defeat. The Civil war was only slightly longer at approximately 4 years, from start to finish.

Now, in comparison, and taking into consider Trump's original announcement with the intention to gain the nomination, these subject and related issues have been discussed for 3.5 years. No action, no movement, nothing - just a lot of talk, tweets and insults. So, now we're coming to crunch time - something has to give, either way. If Trump doesn't begin initiating action against the enemy, then I think we can rightfully conclude that this initial phase is over.

More than anything, action needs to proceed to quiet Trump's critics from the patriot wing.
