A poll of United States service members and veterans finds that only 39 percent approve of transgender individuals serving in the military.
When the sex of the respondent is a factor, the poll – which surveyed the views of 1,031 service members and veterans – shows that 37 percent of male members approve of transgender troops, while 62 percent of females approve.
Only 32 percent of the Greatest Generation (World War II) approve of transgender troops, while 39 percent of Baby Boomers, 42 percent of Generation X, and 55 percent of Millennials approve.

It could be fake. I would expect the real approval number to be more like 1 to 3%.

How was this made ? Don’t believe its result. Any such poll should be a blind poll taken at random with the respondents which in no way with the exception of stating being what US branch of military service and age included in the questionnaire make the participant personally identifiable.
It’s the same 39 percent who are Democrats.

I think that is the more important discussion that can’t be denied. What was taboo when I was younger is now a badge of honor. Debating the accuracy of this particular poll is inconsequential and misses the bigger picture. The big question is how do we reverse the trend. It’s tough when they control education, media, etc.

I couldn’t agree more. In my youth, the fifties, “shacking up” was a pejorative instead of present day cohabiting. A socialist was a political pervert confined to the outskirts, not someone running for president. And homosexuality? Oh, dear.
I find a number that high appalling.
Would be nice to see the actual poll and the numbers about who responded....

The whole business of "winning" wars is not part of current military doctrine. Or so it appears.
And these uninformed idiots have swallowed a sanitized lie about “transgenders” pushed by the media, courts, education, and illegitimate medical posers. Most people in favor don’t really know any “transgenders” intimately enough to know their lives are train wrecks, and not just because they think they’re “in the wrong body.” Comorbities are very high in this group.
Given that opposing transgenders is likely to be a career-ender in the military, that's a good indicator of the percentage who value their careers more than the truth.
