LOL! You make baseless assumptions to avoid addressing arguments - and whine about fallacies that are far more often committed by you Reefer Madness jihadists ... which I find it an entertainment rather than a headache to refute as I always do.
Whose habit is that? I myself am against smoking weed - and against forcing other adults to live as I think best.
I think the worst effect of marijuana is that it turns nice kids from good families into liberals.
When I was a lad in the late 60's and early 70's I received all sorts of anti-drug propaganda. I remember one video in particular featuring Sony Bono were he talked about LSD and tripping and showed some idiot looking in a mirror and seeing a monster face. Um... that didn't do much and all drugs were rolled together as is often done by anti-drug warriors. In fact when many of us did try marijuana the universal reaction was, this is it? This is what they make such a big deal over? This is nothing. For a young person, the refer madness talk was another example of big Government lying to us. If this was a lie, then what else? Suffice it to say that the "Just say no" campaign which came along later for my children, made the same mistake with that generation of young people. The Government did not tell the truth about marijuana. This and Vietnam was only my first examples of doubting the government's stated intentions and I'm sure as hell not a liberal now.
Reefer madness refers to the paranoid state often experienced by users who feel they have irrevocably lost their minds, their identities. They very often acquire a the sense of detachnment, aloofness from family affairs, an unwarranted sense of entitlement versus motivation to work hard for the good in life. The kid who saw a monster in the mirror really did see a monster. Pot drove him crazy, into psychotic, reefer madness, and for you to get a family chuckle out of the destruction of his human consciousness is deplorable and disgraceful.
The marijuana buzz produces a cognitive paradigm that feels right but is actually anti-family, antisocial, and in too many cases produces the desire to get stoned whenever possible, for the simple reason that there is no other way to attain such a fine sense of well-being. The cognitive shift has become street level, so that the marijuana crowd cannot grasp that the Childrens Revolution of the 1960s was not ideological in its origins. Communism had been around for a long time by then. It was a drug revolution when experimentation, especially with low-potency pot, was fun, fun, fun, and became a rite of passage into the cool breezes of extended adolescence chasing the high life rather than having productive careers and raising families.
All drugs can very well be rolled up into one giant, evil joint that opens the doors of hell, and out comes the righteous, snide, middle-aged proletariate who hate any source of authority but their own, especially those judgmental adults who oppress the have nots. They are all liberals who join together in a massive crusade of liberal liberation from judgment and self-restraint so we can all march into that imminent utopia in the next trip into the zone.
So glad you posted this. This is a classic example of overly broad hyperbolic statements that actually help convince many kids that all warnings on drugs are lies. When people make this kind of big stinky, they lose credibility. Sad, because I think you might be trying to be sincere... but I really, really hope I missed a sarcasm tag because no one should have to carry this many conspiracy theories and worry this much about something that can’t and won’t be changed. Peace be with you.
Quite the ad hominem. Good thing your mind is clear and evil free... snicker... you've wasted enough of my time with this nonsense but, heck go for it. Shoot the messenger and pat yourself on the back - I bet it feels almost as good as drugs.
