She shared a picture of herself with husband Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea on November 5, 1996 celebrating his second presidential election
She praised activists who stand up for migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border
Clinton also thanked voters and 2018 Congress candidates who helped Democrats take over the House in the midterm elections
She also praised journalists who 'stand up for the truth' - a stark contrast from Trump who continually slams reporters of purporting 'fake news'
Former First Lady Hillary Clinton is bidding goodbye to a gloomy 2018.
The 71-year-old Democrat who ran against Trump in the 2016 presidential election, called the year as a 'dark time for our country' and took some jabs at the current administration.
She reflected upon the year with a picture of herself with her husband and daughter Chelsea sharing a warm embrace on November 5, 1996, as they enjoyed the fireworks display that celebrated Bill Clinton's second presidency win.
