No rain here, but tomorrow is supposed to be really cold....high of 31 and also the same for Wednesday. I’m not getting out. LOL!

The heavy rain has stopped, but now the temps will dip down to the freezing point. It's going to be very interesting outside, which is why I'm staying inside.

Smoked salmon, crusty French bread and brut champagne in an hour 45 minutes.

I know a gal that has a masters in music, she plays cello and violin, she said when she was in college they told her country and western was to be distained, it had an improper chord progression.

Anywho in walks Doug, and OLD Navy vet, that plays upright bass, Lord he loves jazz, played with Lena Horne in the day.

SCHUMANN: QUARTET FOR PIANO & STRINGS IN E-FLAT, OP. 47

Get out your hankies. This is a great slow movement with a wonderful melody that touches the heart and makes screens go blurry. That’s my old friend Amy Schwartz Moretti on violin. I’ll be seeing her with the Ehnes Quartet at the end of the month in Seattle.

Here, they’re allowed to shoot fireworks from mid morning until 1 a.m. A few will shoot some early but most wait until midnight. It looks like the rain is over so they should be good to go.

I get out of the grubbies when I go to the store or to the monthly Republican Women’s meetings but change back into the grubbies as soon as I get home. Some of these cats like to grab my pants with their claws to get my attention and I don’t want good clothes to get messed up with pulled threads. I don’t care about the grubbies britches.

We had rain today though not as much as last week. Sure did have the wind though! It was worse today than last Thursday. No wind at all when I stepped out earlier to look at the rain gauge.
We’ll cool off but not nearly as cold as you’ll be. YIKES!!

Starting to hear fireworks, that are illegal in the city. But we back up to a school yard and there will be lots there. Downtown will have a big display at midnight.
