The former top commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan, retired four-star Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, criticized President Donald Trump's behavior and handling of the presidency, saying the commander-in-chief is dishonest and immoral.

“I don’t think he tells the truth,” McChrystal said in an exclusive interview on “This Week” when asked by Co-Anchor Martha Raddatz if he believes the president is a liar.

“Is Trump immoral, in your view?” Raddatz asked.

“I think he is,” he said.

"She got the job when she was younger and better looking. She's 65 now."

_________

Marhta Raddatz earlier in her life as Martha Bradlee:

She was nice enough looking then, but lately she looks miserable and on the edge of weeping.

These days she's hard to watch and listen to without having a few drinks.

President Trump should recall McChrystal to service and place him on a “highly classified mission” and then put the jerk on a boomer sub 6-month deployment, with no rank privileges on board. After that, tell him that he is still on active duty, cannot talk to the press, and he will go under for another 6 months if he talks to anyone about anything involving the military or government.

Or, just send him to one of the Poles and deny him communications due to the “highly classified” nature of his assignment.

He reminds me of General Jack D. Ripper. (As well as all the terrible bosses I ever had.)

Good thing he’s retired, cuz the military loves Trump, and I assume he’d lose lots of respect for that article.

I've read that Trump's support is waaaaaay higher among enlisted men and women than among career officers.

(Something I do not find surprising, after 8 years of the Obama Nation.)

McChrystal took a bad situation in Afghanistan and made it much worse. This guy was absolutely terrible. For a fictionalized (yet all too true) look into what a CF his reign at ISAF was, check out the Netflix movie “War Machine” (all names changed in the film).

Even though the movie is brutal against McChrystal (no idea how to apply large conventional forces against such an amorphous threat) and Obama (completely disengaged from his handpicked general), it still misses several key points as to how ineffective and dangerous McChrystal’s time was over there.

He wants to call Trump “immoral”? I’d say hamstringing your Soldiers and Marines from being able to defend themselves by going along with ridiculous rules of engagement, thus leading to many preventable deaths of our people, was highly immoral, too.

Stanley McC, has no clue how be a Gen Officer in the Army; if he had real balls he’d have said lot of bad crap about Obama...if he feels so strongly about President Trump why doesn’t he run for office.......he also should have resigned while on Active duty...now he just wants a CNN gig...

“What I would ask every American to do is ... stand in front of that mirror and say, ‘What are we about?”

What kind of idiot needs to stand in front of a mirror and ask himself a question about the national consciousness?

And just how stupid a question is “What are we about”?

I don’t need to confront myself in a mirror and decide what McChrystal is about.

McChrystal has gone crazy from a career of drinking his own bath water.

Another self hating veteran who was an Obama General and dead silent as Obama pushed through the left wing social experiments that are now destroying military cohesion.

Don’t forget these retired Generals can still be court martialed for disparaging the commander in chief. All of their commisions are for life and they can be returned to active duty pending outcome of their trials. I think the President should consider trying one of these turncoats as a message to the others. We have one Commander in Chief and if they don’t like his policies they are free to vote for whoever they want but they are not free to violate the code of military conduct.

No surprise from an obama-era 4 star who heads up an ultra liberal academic institution. He’d be fired if he said anything supportive of Trump.

Always thought McChrystal was anything but an Obama stooge, so not sure what’s going on here. I guess we need to get McChrystal’s opinion on other things now, from a different viewpoint to see if we are coming up with the same answers.

Sure; that’s why he ended up needing the USA’s help against Nazi Germany when the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was breached.

It probably also saved Stalin from being overthrown in a coup, after the Nazis were half-way to Moscow. But people were too scared to try.
