Anti-Trump Oakland mayor insists she 'did the right thing' in tipping off illegal immigrants about ICE raid

Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf -- who once warned Northern California residents about an impending ICE raid -- said she has “no regrets” for her actions and said the federal immigration agency “has gone astray.”
“I have no regrets, none. The more time goes by, the more certain I feel that I did the right thing in standing up for our community and pointing out our values are not aligned with our laws,” Schaff told BuzzFeed in an interview. “That’s hopefully the message that is sent out.”

Schaaf also slammed federal immigration authorities, saying that Immigraion and Customs Enforcement should be abolished.

I do believe what she did is illegal and endangered the lives in ICE officers. In the real world, she would have been arrested for interfering with law enforcement. that is, if it were me, or any other private citizen. But she is getting a pass because A. She is a woman, and B. Because of her party affiliation. We need to remove such people from ever holding any kind of office. This is unlawful what she has done
Why no charges or actions against mayor?

Various charges can be leveled. If you just convicted on one single charge and put her into some fed prison for 90 days...you’d send a message.

If she believes that her values do not align with our Constitutional laws than she took her oath both with mental reservations and purpose of evasion..... she is a liar and her sworn oath means nothing.

Like most politicians in this Republic, unless an illegal alien attacks someone in their family, they just can’t see any problem with them attacking someone else’s family member.
