The Evidence Coming Out Of The Flynn Case Makes Mueller Look Worse And Worse
The Federalist ^ | December 19, 2018 | Adam Mill

Posted on 12/19/2018 11:56:02 AM PST by detective

As Michael Flynn stood for sentencing Tuesday, you could imagine the special counsel attorneys audibly exhale in relief as he declined to withdraw his guilty plea. Until that moment, it was an open question whether Judge Emmet Sullivan would excuse the government’s now apparent misconduct.

Instead, the judge blasted Flynn for “selling out” his country and wondered whether a “treason” charge might have been considered at some point. The Federalist’s Sean Davis hypothesized that the judge was frustrated by the Flynn team attempting to have his cake and eat it too. If Flynn wanted to attack the government’s abuse of constitutional rights, fine—then withdraw the plea. If not, then drop it.

The stakes were high. Last week, the Robert Mueller team filed a court document effectively threatening prison time if Flynn’s defense team continued alerting the judge to the pattern of misconduct perpetrated by the rogue’s gallery led by former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe.

Flynn had absolutely nothing to do with any alleged Russian meddling in the U.S. 2016 election.

There are thousands of former U.S. officials around Washington D.C. selling influence for foreign money. For example, the registered agents representing Saudi Arabia spent $1.6 million in the midterm elections. Many, like Flynn and Podesta, don’t register.

This is a very good point. What exactly was Flynn's team trying to do by introducing all these references to the FBI documents related to his interview if he is pleading guilty in the case?

I agree with that.

Flynn's problem is one of political optics -- lobbying on behalf of a totalitarian Islamic government in Turkey while he's serving as a senior adviser to the campaign of Donald Trump, of all people.

The kindest thing I can say about Flynn is that he really comes across as a moron.

There was meddling by foreign powers, Hillary and the DNC were in the thick of it.

The judge is attempting to provoke Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea. He knows that Flynn pleaded guilty to avoid the larger charges Mueller could file if he didn't. The Judge provided him an out. After he testifies in other trials as required by his plea they will do this again and see what happens.

All theatrics.

Flynn is a great military man. Not so skilled in the ways of Washington. Had he fessed up to working for Turkey and that he may have spoken with someone.....give me a few days and I will check my records...it would have been one of the ops moments in Washington.

The judge knows what is up be he can’t really do anything unless Flynn is willing to be the patsy and be willing to suffer the consequences. The judge isn’t going out on a limb and accuse the Govt of double dealing unless Flynn is out on the limb with him.

Somebody has the fall on the sword.......

Flynn, like scumbag Paul Manafort, was a Putin stooge.

Getting rid of those two was the best team Trump did.

Hillary Clinton & Robert Mueller Linked in Russian Uranium Exchange

American Liberty PAC ^ | Jun 20, 2017 | Kirk

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton facilitated a uranium exchange with Russian law enforcement by former FBI Director (and current chief Deep State inquisitor) Robert Mueller.

The exchange was exposed via a recent Wikileaks publication of a secret cable between Hillary’s State Department and the Russian embassy.

Hillary sent Mueller to Moscow with orders to turn over a 10 gram sample of highly enriched uranium (HEU) which was obtained during a shadowy 2006 nuclear “sting” operation conducted in the Georgian Republic.

The ostensible reason for the transfer was to engender further trust between Russian and American law enforcement in the area of nuclear materials and to learn more about how to trace nuclear materials.

But when it comes to Hillary and Russian uranium interests, the shady Uranium One deal cannot pass unnoted.

There still has been no real investigation into how Hillary gave permission for a Russian company to acquire a quarter of the North American uranium reserves after Russian interests poured hundreds of millions into the Clinton Foundation and gave Bill Clinton six figure speaking fees.

At the very least, this exchange raises serious questions about the ability of Robert Mueller to do his job as special prosecutor on the Russian collusion charges since he already has connections to major figures in Russian law enforcement.

Special Counsel Mueller Literally Handed Uranium to the Russians!

IWB ^ | Mark Angelides

We all know that the Russian Collusion investigation is nothing but a game to try and distract the population from actually caring about the day to day running of the country, but the charade has gone too far and some serious questions need to be asked; most especially of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

WikiLeaks has put out a document that details then FBI Director Mueller’s itinerary on his visit to Russia to deliver 10 grams of Enriched Uranium.

One more time for those who missed it…Mueller hand delivered Highly Enriched Uranium to the Russian government!

Either the judge just wasn’t up on the case or he got a call from Obama. How else can it be explained for him going over the top accusing Flynn of treason. He ordered the FBI to turn over the 302’s and ended up accepting a summation from Mueller, when the 302 which should have been submitted a few days of the interrogation, weren’t made until six months later. The whole thing stinks to the high heaven and more proof that we are a third world country.

.......documents filed by Mueller under seal not wanting them made public. Judge Sullivan disagreed. more at quodverum.com........

DESERT RHINO——Obama’s intel agencies were not uncovering some “threat” to the USA. They used the tools meant to safeguard the safe security of Americans to conduct surveillance and interference with legitimate political opposition. This was a full abuse of Flynn’s legal rights as a US citizen. Even worse, it was vile political abuse.

Obama’s police state machinations, (the calculated Clinton moves to get-rich-quick), were politically calculated.
These hideous people trifled with ours, and our families safety and security for their own gain.

“Flynn, like scumbag Paul Manafort, was a Putin stooge.”

You have no evidence to support that Flynn was a Putin stooge.

One picture of them a luncheon with hundreds of other people proves nothing.

Yeah, political astuteness wise, Flynn is a weak link. He’s never going to get anything less than the maximum grief from Mueller and the other flying monkeys. The bit with the judge confirmed that. They are going to try to game him any way they can. It’s pretty terrifying, that we have this cabal, this unelected secret government of Comey and company. The Bushies are colluding and the Freedom Caucus and unserious and not up to the task. Poor Trump.

There's one aspect of Flynn's deception that seems to have been completely mischaracterized.

He had no incentive to lie to the FBI about his contacts with Kislyak. As he made clear in his interview with the FBI, he already knew his phone and electronic communications with Kislyak were under surveillance by U.S. intelligence agencies. This means he could not have been trying to mislead them with the intention of covering his ass or anything like that.

The same holds true for Pence, but with a different angle. Pence could easily have learned about Flynn's contacts with Kislyak if he wanted to. So why would Flynn lie to Pence?

There's only one answer to that question that makes any sense: Flynn lied to Pence to give Pence any plausible deniability he needed related to questions that might come up about the transition team's dealings with Kislyak.

The bigger issue for me is that Flynn wasn't even acting on behalf of Russia in all this. The reports I've read and the contents of Flynn's interview make it pretty clear that Russia was being asked to take action on behalf of Israel, not the U.S. That's what the discussion about the United Nations vote on East Jerusalem settlements was all about. Flynn was apparently asking the Russians to veto a U.N. resolution that the U.S. was supporting.

If that last item is true, then Flynn deserves everything he's had coming to him. And anyone in the Trump transition team -- including Donald Trump himself -- who was involved in that charade has no business in the White House.

Michael Fynn, self-proclaimed life-long DEMOCRAT, Obama appointee, appeared regularly on the state-controlled "news" (propaganda) network, Russia Today, or RT. He sat right next to the KGB/FSB thug at a big RT event.

"On December 10, 2015, Flynn attended a gala dinner in Moscow in honor of RT (formerly "Russia Today"), a Russian government-owned English-language media outlet, on which he made semi-regular appearances as an analyst after he retired from U.S. government service.[60]

Flynn sat next to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the dinner, leading Journalist Michael Crowley of Politico to report that "at a moment of semi-hostility between the U.S. and Russia, the presence of such an important figure at Putin's table startled" U.S. officials.[61][62][38]

As part of the festivities, Flynn gave a talk on world affairs for which he was paid at least $45,000.[60] Flynn defended the RT payment in an interview with Michael Isikoff.[62]

A 2017 report by the United States Intelligence Community characterized RT as "The Kremlin’s principal international propaganda outlet" and said that RT America is set up as an autonomous nonprofit organization "to avoid the Foreign Agents Registration Act".[64][65]

As a retired military intelligence officer, Flynn was required to obtain prior permission from the Defense Department and the State Department before receiving any money from foreign governments.

Flynn apparently did not seek that approval before the RT speech, and he did not report the payment when he applied for renewal of his security clearance two months later.[60] Glenn A. Fine, the acting Defense Department Inspector General, has confirmed he is investigating Flynn.[38]

The problem is that these a-holes like to make examples of people to ensure that nobody helps the people they are trying to destroy. Until they are deprived of the ability to do this, nothing will ever change. If Trump is ever going to get through this, he needs to keep on good terms with people who go out on a limb to help him, like Jeff Sessions.
