Under pressure from the courts and the New York attorney general, the Trump Foundation has agreed to dissolve under judicial supervision.
Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced on Tuesday that the Foundation's remaining assets will be distributed to charities approved by her.
And the lawsuit filed by the AG isn't over. According to Underwood's announcement, the lawsuit -- which seeks millions in restitution and penalties and a bar on President Trump and his three eldest children from serving on the boards of other New York charities -- remains ongoing.

Nearly all of the assets will be transferred to the Clinton Foundation, which will use them more responsibly.
I believe President Trump was going to shut it down anyways and not accept any outside donations as president.
Miss Underwood is behaving dangerously like a domestic enemy.
I REALLY resent my tax dollars going to pay the salary of NY’s attorney general. With thousands of legitimate cases waiting for her attention, she instead uses her office as a bash-Trump instrument. Were it up to me, I’d yank her out of her office chair so fast she’d get whiplash and drop her unceremoniously at the front door of the unemployment office. Then I’d kick her in her FAT butt a few times, just for fun. That’s what I think of the NY state government, from the top down.

No bribery.
No collusion with foreign enemies of the US.
No child trafficking.
No looting of a poor country after a major earthquake.

In the scheme of things, this a relative nothingburger.
So this person is God , the Trumps can’t serve on any other charities, but the Clintons , no problem.
The Clinton Crime Family Foundation laundered pay-for-play bribes but that’s OK because shut up.

I’m sorry, who’s foundation doesn’t serve as a checkbook for their interests? This is the whole point of one - to make charitable donations as tax write-offs and receive donations from others to steer them towards groups you wish to be a benefactor for.
Practically every famous pro athlete has a foundation in their name. Guess what it does? It steers charitable giving to causes they support and take it as a tax write-off.
Because it’s Trump and because they think you’re stupid and don’t understand what a foundation is, they want to portray it as something criminal.
Yet the Clinton Foundation is able to keep on running..welcome to the New America
Trump is worth billions and he needs to use a few million from his foundation nefariously, which, I think the Trumps donated most of the money to?
That is there statement. They had 1.7 million they wanted to give to charity to dissolve, the State wouldn’t let them, and now the State wants to collect almost double that for itself.
And the next AG has promised to REALLY go after the Trumps.

Question, did Chelsea really “borrow” $3 million dollars out of the Clinton Foundation for her wedding?
If so, that would be major; very major.
Unless there’s a two-tiered justice system, that is.
