I believe President Trump was going to shut it down anyways and not accept any outside donations as president.
That is there statement. They had 1.7 million they wanted to give to charity to dissolve, the State wouldn’t let them, and now the State wants to collect almost double that for itself.
This is classic projection as a defense tactic against the criminal allegations coming down on the Clinton Foundation.
