He should have baked the cake. The first action was a refusal to participate in a homosexual wedding which he has religious objections to. But the transgender person has already been born and this is simply acknowledging the anniversary of the thing’s birthday. Is Phillips objecting to birthdays?
I think he not only should have baked the cake but he missed a tremendous PR opportunity by doing so. Gotta be wise as a serpent sometimes.
Did you even read the article?
It wasn’t a traditional “birthday cake”, it was a cake earmarked designated “to mark the seven-year anniversary of her gender transition.”
I don’t agree.
In my view transgenders go against the will of God, if He would have wanted them to be the opposite sex they would have been born that way.
You are wrong and he did the right thing by not baking the cake. They are free to go somewhere else to get a cake for their evil event.
Its a cake not of his real birthday but a celebration of his re-birthday when whoever it is changed gender to their perceived sexual orientation instead of their birth sex. There is no reason in the world a true professing Christian should be compelled to apply his talents to create his artistry in celebration of something he does not believe in. Thats involuntary servitude.
He referred to the situation as an obvious setup. On June 26, 2017, the same day that the Supreme Court agreed to hear the same-sex wedding cake case, Autumn Scardina asked Masterpiece to create a birthday cake pink on the inside, blue on the outside to mark the seven-year anniversary of her gender transition.
That makes a bit of difference, no?
