I’m with Rush, I think the Judge is basically begging Flynn to give him some justification for going after FBI misdeeds.

I suspect that when Judge Sullivan accused Flynn of being a Traitor and suggesting that he may not take the prosecutions light sentencing recommendations .... he was basically saying “Cowboy-Up .... and here, let me give you a reason to Cowboy-Up, because I need you to fight this!”

Appreciate the effort, but that is literally illegible. Given the volume I guess spacing and breaks are out of the question. But, I will sum up what he would say if he were smart, in other words: what it is.

Flynn is a traitor. While he was breaking his oath to defend the United States he took money and direction from Turkey in secret. He is not a “failed to register” lobbyist - he is a spy.

Flynn is the worst of the targets who have been swept up in Mueller’s probe. When Mueller seeks to rehabilitate Flynn against the President it requires OVER-emphasizing any of his actions that have some relation to the President (the transition) and DE-emphasizing other crimes not connected to the President (Flynn being a Turkish spy).
In his zeal to harass the President, Mueller was letting Flynn off the hook.
The Judge did not buy it.
There is no case against the President and the Judge just confirmed it, that is the reason he slapped the smirk off Flynn’s face. The crime goes no higher, just a few underlings and a spy who got called out.
