Yep. A friend from high school discontinued her melanoma treatments last year, around October. 6 weeks ago, she posted she was cancer free! She’s been at the top of my (and other’s) prayer list.

From the St. Jude website: What are the survival rates for DIPG? Unfortunately, the survival rate for DIPG remains very low. At this time there is no cure for this tumor. The brain tumor team at St. Jude along with colleagues at many other pediatric brain tumor programs across the U.S. will continue to strive toward finding a cure for patients with DIPG.
