President Donald Trump's inaugural committee is under criminal investigation by federal prosecutors in Manhattan for pay to play and misspending some of the $107 million it raised from donations, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
The probe was launched by the U.S. attorney's office in Manhattan, the paper said, citing people familiar with the investigation.
The investigation, which is reportedly in its early stages, is looking into whether some of the committee's top donors gave money to gain access to the incoming Trump administration to influence policy positions, which could be a violation of anti-corruption laws.

Judges mean very little at this point. Nazi Germany and the USSR had some very formal proceeding presided over by judges. And a bit of trivia, everything the USSR and Nazis did had the form of legality within their system.

Brother you are absolutely correct. I am retired military. I swore an oath to protect the President of the United States with my life and that oath did not end with my retirement. If the President were to call on us to defend him I will respond. I don’t think I will be alone. I have always preferred to live in peace rather than fight for it but I will if I must. The dems have been begging for it a long time now and I think its on the horizon.
