Full Title: 'If you go to another country, you must abide by its culture. If not, don't go': Egypt's president decries migrants heading to Europe and refusing to integrate instead of fixing their own countries.

Egypt's President has told his people they should not expect the West to 'open their doors' to migrants who refuse to integrate.

Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that 'every country has the right to protect its people and their interests.'

Speaking at a World Youth Forum in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt, the country's leader told guests they had to 'completely abide by the laws, customs, traditions and culture' of a country they moved to.

About time. Ignored by the MSN. I hope that this president fares better than Sadat.

“’completely abide by the laws, customs, traditions and culture’ of a country they moved to.”

In our country, it’s not “move to” but more “Invade and disrespect”.

They already have. al-Sisi is the man who saved Egypt from the Muslim brotherhood. A man with his education could probably have a cushy job as a tenured professor in America. Instead, he is serving his country.

How defective and stupid were Obama and his cronies? Obama let the US get swept up in the "Arab Spring," to support of the Muslim Brotherhood (which also led to the destruction of Libya). The MB were late to the Tahir Square protests, but mobilized their many supporters to eventually take over as the face of the public opposition. MB rule the nearly caused a civil war in Egypt, and nearly launched a Christian genocide. When this man, Al-Sisi, and the western-oriented military stepped in to restore order, Obama slinked away, allowing others to say he supported "democracy."

Remember all those snotty liberal articles years ago about the “Ugly American”? The many articles on this topic derided Americans as rude, demanding, an uncultured as they traveled abroad. The idea was that Americans who traveled to foreign countries would not adopt the culture or try to “fit in”, rather they would rudely try to impose American standards on the host country.

Compare and contrast this to the hypocrisy of the left who now suddenly proclaim it is racist to expect that immigrants - illegal or otherwise - should be assimilate into the host county and learn the language.

A foreigner alone in my country is likely to conform to my country’s customs and laws. Get a large group of them, backed by politicians that want more of them, and my country’s under attack.

If this man can stay in power Egypt will make huge strides into this century. He is a good man and we should pray for his safety and success.

It’s interesting that the Ugly American image is pushed by the left. We are damned for not conforming when we visit another country and now we are damned because we expect people coming to our country to conform.

Common sense. If you hate where you live, how smart do you have to be to realize bringing your failed values along with you won't lead to a better life. Say at home, work hard, change what needs changing, that's a better course. And if your values need changing, have to do that
